Przemysław Borecki
Mr. Przemysław Borecki is one of our founders and Executive Directors. Mr. Borecki has over 15 years of professional experience in the finance, trading, IT projects and global HR processes. He gained practice working for global financial institutions in various countries. As former Chief Operation Officer of BitBay Exchange, a multinational cryptocurrency exchange based in Poland, Mr. Borecki has a significant role in the adoption of trading tools, OTC trading desk as well as liquidity providing activity for online trading business. Mr. Borecki also introduced and led successful development of the TradingView platform in Poland.
Paweł Sobków
Mr. Paweł Sobków is one of our founders and Executive Directors, who for 20 years has been associated with the capital market. CEO of Pinewood Holdings, BitBay operator. He sat in the authorities of Ruch SA, Bakalland SA, ZM Henryk Kania, Hawe SA, Inovo Venture Fund. He created strategies for building the value of enterprises, he was responsible for acquisitions, investments and controlling. He is a doctor of economic sciences at SGH, he completed MBA studies at the Maastricht School of Management.
Julia Staniek
Julia Staniek is responsible for Digital Marketing in Geocurrency. For many years she has been associated with Social Media, getting to know it inside out by developing her own accounts. In July, she completed an eight-week Digital Marketing course organized by Google and the Warsaw School of Economics, where she developed her skills such as managing Google and Facebook Ads campaigns, advertising in Social Media, e-mail marketing or UX, which has become her new passion. She developed a comedy account on Tiktok, which in a few months gathered over 330K followers and obtained millions of views. As a hobby, she runs her own TikTok account in Spanish, where she currently has over 350K followers, mainly from Latin America.
Monika Sułkowska
Monika Sułkowska is the Head of Compliance Department in Geocurrency.
She is responsible for issues related to legality and ethics in the company and solves problems related to them. Also deals with accounting matters. She is a hardworking and creative person, with high ethical standards and attention to detail. She graduated from the University of Economics in Katowice with a master’s degree in finance and accounting. In free time she is an active participant in EU courses, currently in a computer graphic course.
